The museum is very fortunate to have inherited from Dr. Remick 7 buildings which now make up the museum. These include his home which also housed his medical practice, a wood working shop, stables, milk house, cattle barn, storage shed, the museum center and barn as well as a few buildings new to the museum such as the maintenance building, ice house, sugar house, equipment storage building, and the Harkness house. There are 12 buildings in all. Caring for wooden buildings that were constructed mostly in the 18th and 19th centuries is costly and time consuming. In order to preserve these structures for both ours and future generations, the museum is always looking for funds to help make that possible.
