Join us for a fun-for-all festival that enthusiastically explores the wonders of a misunderstood plant!

  • Taste samples of delectable dandelion dishes 
  • Explore “Dandelions: Weed or Wonder?”, a new exhibit in our Well Room
  • Pull up a chair at the soda fountain exhibit to taste homemade rootbeer
  • Visit the apothecary exhibit for bitters and cordials
  • Have fun at the drug store exhibit trying dandelion cosmetics
  • View a live beehive and learn about bees and their relationship to the dandelion with Amanda Doherty
  • Sample dandelion wine, beer, and preserved items in the Sugar House—watch a demonstration

  • Create dandelion-themed crafts
  • Duck into the Garden Shed for a live dandelion exhibit and garden-related information
  • Paint a colorful flower pot
    Additional $5 fee
  • Stretch yourself during “Yoga in the Grass” led by Barbara McEvoy 
    Sun salutation—11:30AM | Relaxing—2:30PM   We suggest you bring your yoga mat
  • Hear about non-toxic garden care with Remick gardener Shannon Maes
  • View and discuss an informative watershed model presented by the Green Mountain Conservation Group
  • Get colorful—have your face painted
  • Picture yourself as a dandelion—snap a photo at our photo op display
  • Hand-select potted seedlings to plant at home
    For purchase, while supplies last
  • Purchase dandelion honey, salve and tea, soap, bee, natural lawn care products and more
  • Locally-sourced lunches from Elevens Kinetic Provisions Food Truck
    For purchase; serving salads, grain bowls and sandwiches, while supplies last

Members receive $2 off admission cost
