UNPLUGGED FAMILY FUN

“Pop In” for Discovery Days

MON., FEBRUARY 18–FRI., FEBRUARY 22, 2019

Enjoy unplugged family time at our historic homestead! 
Gather up the family and join us at Remick Museum & Farm for some historic fun. Each day, Monday through Friday, we offer ways for you to “pop in” and spend quality time together. Enjoy self-led explorations from 10AM–4PM, Monday–Saturday, and plan to join us for the day’s activity and/or farm chores. [WEEK 2 of these activities takes place Feb. 25–Mar. 1.]

MONDAY | Nocturnal Creatures Scavenger Hunt
Travel along the Binsack trail at your own pace to learn about some of the nighttime creatures that can be found around the farm. Pop in for this activity from 11AM–12:30PM.

TUESDAY | Old-World Food vs. New-World Food: Presentation & Trivia
Do you know where your food comes from? Learn about foods and their journey to your plate and play a fun, food trivia game. Pop in for this half-hour activity at 11AM or 12PM.

WEDNESDAY | Herbal Program
Pop in for this activity from 11AM–12:30PM.

THURSDAY | Cows & Cream
How does delicious cream make its way into our food? Learn how, then learn how to make butter. Pop in for this half-hour activity at 11AM or 12PM.

FRIDAY | Make a Fun, Family Friendly Craft
Pop in for this activity from 11AM–12:30PM.

MONDAY–FRIDAY | Be a Farmer: Help Out with Farm Chores
Learn about the farm animals and help out with a few of our daily chores—light on the duty but heavy on the fun. Pop in for this activity at 2 PM.



COST: $5 pers
on; FREE for children 4 and under.
Admission includes access to the entire Museum & Farm. 
No pre-registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult, not left unsupervised.
