Every season offers new opportunities to
take part in real, fresh experiences.

Quality time, quality learning.
The Remick property is a unique classroom for your child or student and offers memorable quality time for family visits.

  • Year-round, we provide unplugged learning opportunities.
Read an overview of the museum and farm.

  • Whether it’s a class for your child, a vacation activity for your family, or an educational visit for your school group, our programming is season-based and highly interactive.

  • No matter the subject, we work to assist participants in making engaged discoveries of their own and in partnership with others.

DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR
In July 2019 we welcomed program manager Jim Cruickshank to the Remick Team — read about Jim here. Using his educational experience and creative talents, Jim has created a refreshed lineup of classes for the 2019/2020 school year. Class topics relate to many aspects of Remick history, with an emphasis on agriculture and the farm property. We invite your child, family or school group to join Jim and our program team throughout the school year to explore the beautiful and ever-changing Remick farmstead!

  • Remick Homeschool Classes | Ages 6–18
NEW CLASSES! Join us for a monthly two-hour interactive, hands-on class that incorporates agriculture, nature, science and/or math.

  • Remick Ramblers | Ages 6–18
NEW PROGRAM! These nature explorations meet one Thursday a month and lead kids in making engaged, outdoor discoveries using, or related to, the museum property.

  • School Groups | Grades K-12
Please visit the School & Teacher Information page to learn about our programming.

  • For Families: School Vacation Weeks
Please check back with us as we near February and April school vacation weeks to learn about special programming.

YEAR-ROUND

  • Hillsdale 4-H Dairy Club | Ages 8–18
Founded and led by our farm manager, Lindsey McAllister, Remick Farm’s 4-H club meets year-round and, among other projects, prepares for competing in New Hampshire agricultural fairs during the summer months.
