Planning Your Medicine Garden

SATURDAY, MAY 12, 2018 | 1–3:30 PM

This workshop has taken place—please stay tuned for 2019 details.

Create a happy, healthy garden that can make you healthier in return!
Through slides, discussion, a garden visit and tastings, get to know the planting needs and uses of 17 beautiful medicinal plants. Address details like: Will the Bee balm overshadow the Lemon balm? And just how wide will the Elecampane reach? Taste teas brewed from some of the discussed plants and take home a booklet of planting and harvesting guidelines. We plan to have potted plants for sale to help get your garden off to a great start.

Cost: $30 for members | $40 for non-members, includes Museum admission
Call 603-323-7591 to register. Registration closes Wed., May 9/when filled. For ages 18 and up; 16 and up, with a parent. Dress for the weather: this class takes place indoors and out (weather permitting); the outdoor garden terrain is sloped and irregular.
