DISCOVERY THROUGH YOUR FIVE SENSES
Outdoor Walks at Remick
TWICE MONTHLY, MAY–OCTOBER | 10–11:30 AM
Learn about helpful and medicinal healers growing on the Remick grounds!
Join Museum Educator/Herbalist Carol Felice and learn to recognize the abundance of useful, interesting, edible, or medicinal plants on the Remick property. Join us for one or multiple walks: with each succeeding walk you will come to recognize plants as they change through their lifecycle and add new plants to your repertoire. We will explore different locations during each walk and each week. Dress for the day’s weather and varied terrain. We will have a fun, casual attitude on our walks but feel free to bring a small notebook or camera to help your memory, if desired. Plant list and clipboard provided.
Following most Outdoor Walks, Museum Educator/Artist Kathleen Johnson will be available to lead a short session to assist you in illustrating identifying features of what you found to aid your memory (11:30–Noon).
Walk dates: (May–October 2017 dates to be announced.)
Dates subject to change—Please call to confirm

“If I had to name my top-ten favorite things of 2016, your Outdoor Walks would definitely be on that list. Good knowledge, good energy. Thank you.” ~ Cindy, Middleton, NH
