________

OVERVIEW
Founded in 1996 and open year-round, Remick Country Doctor Museum & Farm is located in the heart of Tamworth Village, NH, where we celebrate 200+ years of agricultural tradition and interpret the world of the country doctor through the lives of Dr. Edwin “Doc” Crafts Remick (1903-1993) and his father, Dr. Edwin Remick (1866-1935).

In addition to the Museum Center and historic Captain Enoch Remick House (c. 1808), the museum features walking trails, vegetable and herb gardens, pastures, agricultural outbuildings, a maple sugar house and more. Overview.

Until further notice, farm animals are not being raised on-site: please read our “We’re Forging a New Path” message for important information.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT
To educate a broad and diverse public to the values and significance of the medical practice and agricultural way of life of the country doctor, and to preserve and protect the Remick property and collections for the benefit of the public.”

Remick is a Yankee Magazine “Best of New England” recipient and named a ParentingNH Magazine “Family Favorite.”

Remick is a member of ALHFAM (The Association for Living History, Farm and Agricultural Museums) and is part of the New Hampshire Heritage Museum Trail.
