Want to revive your sewing skills or just enjoy some creative time with fellow makers? Maybe you’ve been collecting a pile of items to repair or pants that have been needing a hem job. What about that creative costume you’ve been planning? \nJoin instructor Gail Williams in the Hearth Room at Remick Country Doctor Museum & Farm for a fun and relaxed workshop where you can explore creative sewing ideas and projects using recycled denim\, plus your own imagination. \nWhat to Expect: \n+ Bring your sewing machine or just bring yourself! \n+ Basic machine threading will be reviewed for anyone who needs a refresher. \n+ Prefer to hand stitch? That’s absolutely welcome too! \n+ A stash of denim jeans will be available to repurpose – or bring your own ideas and materials! \n+ A small\, finished item to take home with you by the end of the workshop\, such as an ornament\, pin cushion\, or tote bag. \nNo experience necessary – just a desire to sew\, create\, and have fun.
