Illuminated by candles or twinkling lights\, the trees range from handcrafted and rustic to mid-century and full of sparkle. \nThe Hearth Room invites you to linger awhile\, surrounded by holiday glow and historical Christmas touches. Throughout the Museum Center\, festive details offer something new to discover around every corner. \nAlong the way\, you can… \n+ Explore Christmas traditions through displays of decorative blow molds\, ceramic Christmas trees\, holiday villages\, and more. \n+ Admire vintage Christmas ornaments from the Remick collection. \n+ Discover the story behind glass ornaments\, from their 19th-century beginnings through today\, including how they were designed and marketed. \n+ Enjoy a bit of winter bloom\, with a display of seasonal bulbs and flowers—and potted paperwhite bulbs available for purchase. \n+ Listen to seasonal music as you explore. \n+ Settle in for a spell and watch The House Without A Christmas Tree\, a heartwarming holiday film set in 1946. \n+ Visit the Apothecary to learn about the Tamworth Community Nurse Association\, established in 1921 and the only free skilled nursing service in the country. The organization also has historical ties to Remick.
