Bring your class to Remick for a unique learning experience.
Enjoy interactive lessons on a beautiful, historic working farm, created and led by Remick Program Manager/Educator Jim Cruickshank (read his bio)
OVERVIEW
- School trip bookings are available during September, October and November.
- Available days of the week: Tuesday and Wednesday.
- We welcome grades K–12.
- Each two-hour session incorporates agriculture, nature, science and/or math.
- Lessons are designed to cover topics as appropriate for your group’s grade level/s.
- Group interaction and discussion promote a deeper understanding of each topic.
- Classes take place rain or shine; all participants should be prepared to spend time outdoors.
- A picnic tent is available for snacks/lunch.
- Farm Tour with animal observations
- Butter Making
- Garden Activities/Work
- Season-based Natural Science Hike with ecology themes

COST: $8 per student | Free for teachers/chaperones*
Maximum of 30 students; pre-registration is required.
*No fee is charged for one (1) teacher/chaperone per ten (10) students.
