The modest apartment of Dr. Edwin “Doc” C. and Marion Remick (accessible by stairway only).

OUTDOORS
Available until seasonal weather becomes incompatible with the listed activity. The grounds and trail are not maintained when winter conditions are present, visitors assume all risks.
  • Discover each location of the Cat’s Eye History Tour — a “purrr-fect” scavenger hunt that provides historical details about our site while honoring Doc and Marion’s love of cats.

  • Discover what’s growing in the Historical Vegetable and Herb Garden Exhibits.

  • Walk the Binsack Trail and learn about the farmstead and natural phenomena along the way by interacting with six informational kiosks. The trail, which begins/ends at the dirt roadway entrance off of Cleveland Hill Rd. (next to the Museum Center barn) or at the Cattle Barn dirt roadway entrance off of Great Hill Rd., is .46-mile long. During open hours, the dirt roadway that connects the entrances/exits is also open for walking — it runs through the farmstead grounds and makes the walk ~.66 miles long, in total). Open dawn–dusk to foot traffic only, animals are not allowed on the trail/farmstead.

  • Bird-related activities:
    • What’s Your Wingspan? Located at the Ice House
    • See how many migratory birds you can spot on the property.
  • Have a picnic — pack-in/pack-out picnics welcome.

  • Visit the Museum Store ~ Open Thursday–Saturday, 10AM–3PM.
