Welcome to “quiet season” on the farm!

AN ENTIRE FARMSTEAD TO YOURSELF (MOST LIKELY)

“Quiet Season” on the Farm

OPEN DAILY* | 10AM–2PM | ADMISSION BY DONATION

____________

Enjoy our “quiet” farmstead as activity eases and winter nears!
Our agricultural, natural, and picturesque landscape is the perfect backdrop for self-led exploring. *We invite you to enjoy the farm grounds until snow prevents access.

THINGS TO DO
These “free-range” activities are self-led and included with your admission (admission is by donation).

  • Visit with our farm animals in their seasonal, pastured settings. Our animals include chickens and a rooster, dairy and beef cows, goats, pigs, sheep, and a miniature horse named Sadie.

  • Ramble, relax, and rejuvenate—we are located in a beautiful spot, so please take time to enjoy the simple, seasonal pleasures of the Remick farmstead.

  • Walk the Binsack Trail, a .6 of a mile gravel trail that encircles and cuts between the farm’s main grazing pastures. Open daily to foot traffic, dawn to dusk. (Bikes, cross country skis, etc. are prohibited, as are all pets.) View the trail map.

  • Share a picnic with family and friends—pack-in pack-out picnics welcome.

  • The museum store has reopened for in-store shopping! Stop in Wednesday–Friday, 10AM–2PM.

  • Take lots of pictures! There is so much to catch your eye you’ll have fun capturing your visit. When posting images on social media, feel free to tag us on Facebook and Instagram and or/use the #RemickMuseum or #RemickFarm hashtag. With your permission, we just might share your images in our feed.

  • Stay connected. In all seasons you can stay up-to-date with all things Remick by connecting with us on our Facebook page and in our Instagram feed.

The health and wellbeing of all are important to us. Precautionary COVID-19 guidelines are in place and apply to your visit. With the exception of guided tours, all barns and buildings, including the Museum Center, are closed at this time; however, the farm grounds are fully open for your enjoyment.

Check out our PLAN YOUR VISIT page for helpful information.
