But did you know that some of these patent medicines are still used, and even beloved, today? Learn about the history of some of the dubious elixirs, tonics, and potions of this era as we taste our way through modern reminders of this notorious time.

Make handmade Valentines to share with those you love, inspired by late 19th-century cards, as well as popular postcards from the 1900s.
11:00AM | Snowshoe Hike
10:00AM | Get Ready for Maple Weekend: The Science of Maple
Prepare for the tastiest weekend of the spring by learning about the early maple sugaring process! Take a stroll around the Binsack Trail to learn how to identify maple trees in the winter while learning about the natural processes occurring behind the scenes that allow for maple sap to become maple syrup. Maple Weekend 2025 takes place March 15–16.
Presenting an informal history of beer in the Granite State from Colonial Times to the present, author Glenn Knoblock explores the fascinating history of New Hampshire’s beer and ale brewing industry from when it was home- and tavern-based, to today’s modern breweries and brew pubs. Unusual and rare photos and advertisements document this changing industry, presenting evidence of society's changing attitudes towards beer and alcohol consumption over the years.
