Join us for a guided winter snowshoe hike!
Join Remick program manager and interpretive guide Jim Cruickshank on a guided snowshoe hike* around the Binsack Trail and farmstead. During this ramble across the grounds, participants will be encouraged to keep their senses about them for winter wildlife sightings. Discussions of the changing farmstead and other relevant themes will occur as well! Participants must provide their snowshoes (and trekking poles, if available).
This activity is subject to cancellation due to severe weather or poor ground conditions. Cancellation will occur a day or two before the event date and be announced on this webpage and social media. Please call ahead if you are concerned that cancellation might be a last-minute possibility. *This will be a winter walk if conditions are not appropriate for snowshoes.
Duration: 45-60 minutes.
Meet up location: Outside at the back door entrance to the museum store.
Free for members | $5 suggested donation for non-members
All ages; ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
