CSA stands for “community-supported agriculture” and we’re thrilled to provide you—our community—with the opportunity to bring delicious, top-quality pork to your dinner table at a discounted price.

General Information

  • A Remick Pork CSA “share” is your choice of a half or whole pig, custom cut to your cut-sheet specifications (cut-sheet options list provided to you shortly before processing).
    • Pricing: $4.50 per pound, hanging weight (delivered meats will be approximately 60% of the hanging weight.). Price per pound includes the cost of the piglet, feed, appropriate vaccinations, transport to and from the processing plant, and processing and smoking fees. Estimate of final cost: $900.00–$1200.00. 
    • Approximate hanging weight: 200–240 pounds. By request at sign-up, lighter and heavier pig weights may be possible.
  • Shares will be ready for pick up in early December 2021 and must be picked up at the museum.
    • Shareholders will receive a call when the order is ready for pickup; final payment will be due at that time.
  • Our CSA meats are processed in a USDA-inspected facility, professionally wrapped, frozen, and supplied boxed and sealed for safe and easy transport.
  • Shares are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT: Half pig—$175.00 | Whole pig—$250.00
FINAL COST: $4.50 per pound (hanging weight), minus deposit
Deposit is required at signup; balance due at the time of pickup.
