Group Learning at Remick

Bring your home-based, school, or adventure group to the historic Remick farmstead for a time of dynamic learning.

Group outdoors learning

Our historic farmstead is a dynamic learning place!

What can your group expect?

Learning group programming at Remick incorporates history, nature, science and/or math, and provides unique discovery time on a historic farmstead.

  • Remick educators are professional, friendly, and attentive to your group’s needs.
  • Each session is designed to accommodate your group’s age range and any special needs.
  • Sessions are season-based and feature discovery through the senses and hands-on activities.
  • Group interaction and discussion encourage a deeper understanding of each subject.
  • Sessions primarily take place outdoors in rain, snow or shine. (Participants should be dressed for the day’s weather and farm conditions underfoot.)

What does Remick offer?

Our diverse site is a unique setting from which a wide variety of subjects can be explored.

A sampling of popular topics:

  • Bird migration
  • Family history
  • Gardening — from seed starting, to planting, to harvest
  • Medical history
  • Pollinators
  • Tree identification
  • Water ecology

And there’s more to explore!
