Take a guided Maple Sugaring Tour
Venture out for an engaging maple sugaring tour, where your guide will provide an overview of the history of sap collecting, which trees are tapped and how, the impact of weather on sap flow, changes to maple sugaring caused by our changing climate, the sap boiling process, and mmm…ore.
Offered weekly in March, Thursday–Saturday at 11 a.m. (no tour Saturday, March 21 — see Open House in the Sugarhouse details below).

Join us for our annual Open House in the Sugarhouse
On the Saturday of New Hampshire Maple Weekend, visit our sugarhouse on Great Hill Rd. in Tamworth Village, where you’ll find us selling maple products and demonstrating Doc Remick’s backyard sap boiler. While on-site, learn about the history of sugaring from exhibited historical tools and wall exhibits, and see a model of how modern sap extraction works using tubing.
