
TUESDAY – SATURDAY | 1 PM — Dr. Edwin Remick (1866-1935) and Dr. Edwin C. Remick (1903-1993) — father-and-son country doctors — served their local hometown of Tamworth for 99 consecutive years from what is now the Remick Museum site. Step back in time during your guided tour of the medical rooms where both country doctors met with patients during their combined, nearly century-long medical practice, all housed within the stately Captain Enoch Remick House (on the National Register of Historic Places). NO TOUR JULY 4, and 23–25.
Visit the original waiting area, triage and examination rooms, and apothecary. The tour includes stories, memories, and examples of medical equipment and manuals of both doctors.
Note: It is necessary to climb steps to enter the building.
