FRIDAYS | 11 AM — Horses were beloved by both Doctors Remick. This is most evident in the collection of Dr. Edwin C. Remick (1903-1993) and his personal history with harness racing. Take a guided walk on the farmstead grounds to visit the historic horse stable and the apartment he shared with his wife, Marion Miles Remick (also a fan of harness racing), to learn all about harness racing in New England and the equine history on the property. Tour unavailable July 25.
Note: It is necessary to climb stairs to visit the Dr. and Mrs. Edwin Remick apartment located on the 2nd floor of the Museum Center.
Note: This tour will focus on the history of horses on the farmstead, as there are no animals on the property at this time.
