Do you like your frights laced with a dose of history? Then join your costumed guide for a spine-chilling tour through the historic medical offices once used by the Drs. Remick from 1866–1993.
Uncover a surprisingly spooky blend of grim monster tales, curious medical practices, and eerie history—all revealed through the microscope of medical history. Along the way, you’ll visit five distinct medical rooms in the stately Captain Enoch Remick House, each with its own spooktacular theme and topic, including:

Evening tours require booking by 3:00 p.m. the day before and are not offered on Thursdays or on Saturday, October 31 (Halloween).
$10 | $5 for Remick Ramblers and Museum Maven members
NARM and NH Passport participants receive member pricing.
For ages 16+
Participants ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Preregistration and prepayment are required.

Please note: The terrain of the museum grounds is variable, including gravel, grass, and a wooden footbridge, with some slightly sloped areas. We recommend wearing comfortable footwear suitable for walking on these surfaces.

In the 1800s, a pathological museum was a collection of preserved human organs and tissues showing the physical effects of diseases. Gull argued that by examining the actual physical changes a disease causes within the body, a physician learns why a patient is sick, how a disease progresses, and what it truly is. It represents scientific inquiry, observation, and structural knowledge.
